Second baby kicks

Hi all, when did everyone feel there second baby kick? I'm nearly 18 weeks and haven't felt anything, I started feeling my first at 17weeks and his placenta was at the front, this time the placenta is to the back which is meant to make it easier to feel kicks, I also looked back at pictures and my bump was a lot bigger than it is now, now I keep worrying 😩

Long time ago but I do remember it took a lot longer with #2. Maybe even 20 weeks?

Hiya! I'm also pregnant with no.2 - currently 23+2. I also thought I'd be feeling baby a lot earlier. I thought I felt something coming up to wk15 and was like, wow this is lots earlier... And then nothing conclusive again for ages. Felt my first around 19wks. I'd say up to about 21wks I was feeling them occasionally but nothing I could happily say was conclusively them! Part of it was maybe me doubting it (had some losses last year so this pregnancy has been a bit different anyway). The last week or so I'm finally feeling confident saying "Yep! That's baby!" I also know from 20wk scan that placenta is posterior and in a great position so can't blame that! Every pregnancy is different I guess, and they are still little enough just now to find hiding spots etc. I'm sure all is fine 🥰

Exactly the same as you - 18 weeks with no 2. Felt my first around 16 weeks with placenta at the front and this time it’s at the back. First had little flutters at 15 weeks but then nothing for a while and just started feeling her a little more in the last week or so. Can’t wait for the big kicks and rolls again! Good luck with everything 😊

I'm 20 weeks with my third baby and I was panicking because with my first I felt it at 18 weeks, then second was about 15 weeks(so tiny though and not very often) so because I thought the more pregnancies you have the earlier you feel movement, that can't be true because I was 19 weeks when I fist felt flutters(also tiny) with this pregnancy. I worried like you. Im always worrying about something but I really do think every pregnancy is different. Best of luck

Thank you all so much for replies :) it really helps because so many people keep saying have you felt her yet and it just makes me worry if everything is okay so I'm glad other people have experienced the same as me, it's so hard to just relax isn't it! I'm okay when I'm busy but I find myself laying at night hoping to feel somthing x

Yeah it is so worrying, we worry about everything! Have to got one of those doppler devices? I bought one and I used it everyday and it just reassures me when I hear the heartbeat and you can hear baby moving on it also and most time I can't feel anything when he moves. Worth a buy I think.
