Early Pregnancy

Hello,

We have been trying for a while now and always use the "Clear Blue early pregnancy results" which have always shown me a blank result (negative).

My period is due in 6/7 days and I took 3 early tests which have a veeeeeeeeeeery faint line. I am scared to get happy, any thoughts would be great please!

Impossible to tell with it being so red. Could be a positive, could be evap, could be an indent.

Can you post a picture without the red?

The background behind the line is very discoloured. Did you flood the test or did the line come up after the time it states to read it by?
The background should be whiter so I’d be cautious tbh.

Nope wasnt flooded, just weird if three of them are showing faint lines. The other ones have whiter back grounds. I have been doing these tests for 8 months and literally doesnt show anything, went to shop for digital ones but three shops never had. Maybe just need to wait and see

I’d wait until the day your period is due, 6/7 days before is almost impossible to get a positive. And just get cheap tests from boots or supermarket!

this is my result from a clear blue test I did yesterday.
Loads of people say blue dye tests are unreliable so I did a digital today and it's positive, so the test I did yesterday was indeed a positive result.

@Rachlovex if I'm comparing yours to mine then I would say they look very similar, but try a digital. I am very early, only literally 4 weeks and it still came up with a positive so I have everything crossed for you. Please let me know how you get on 😊

Hi looking for information on conception.

I have took a clear blue test which says 2-3 weeks (taken on 11 April) and my last period being March 5th. These dates would suggest I conceived in march

I know I’m 100% being delusional here but on January 12th I was sexually assaulted. Since then I had a period in February and then March. It’s not been until April I have missed my period.

just to confirm that having this sex in January would not result in a positive test now? I’m sure it was periods and not implantation bleeding as it lasted 4/5 days and was heavy?

I know I’m just loosing my mind over here but I’m right aren’t I? The baby has to have been conceived in March?

@Rfraser you should start your own thread but to answer you q no it's not possible. You had periods 5th March making you 6 weeks pregnant so 5 weeks last week. Minus 2 weeks as pregnancy test show from conception so about 3 weeks just like the test shows.

My Husband went and got me a digital test, and its positive! This is my second pregnancy , I have DD who is nearly 3. I thought I would remain calm but the happiness and confusion if I can be happy yet has already crept in! Thank you so much for your help x

congratulations! I have two DS, my youngest is 2 and this was a complete and utter shock for us. My EDD puts me at Christmas Day 🙈🙈

I’m so sorry this happened to you but I can assure you from what you are saying with the dates, periods, and the test saying 2-3 weeks, that you absolutely will not have gotten pregnant from that horrific event in January and you will have conceived in March. I conceived around feb 1st and you can definitely see I am 13 weeks on an ultrasound so if you book a private scan and you’re not over 13 weeks like me then you 10000% will not have been pregnant from January.
