What are some "old wives tales" you've heard relating to what might hint what your babies sex will be?
Was it accurate for you?

Bad morning sickness and only wanting to eat sweet things apparently mean it's a girl. I had both those and having a girl - I'm sure it's a coincidence though!

I’ve had bad morning sickness in all 3 pregnancies, I’ve had 2 boys and now pregnant with a girl. Weirdly though this time it eased a lot sooner than it did with my sons. I also was told girls make you ugly and boys make pretty.. well my skin has been SHOCKING in every pregnancy too! 😂

I heard about salty/savoury cravings meaning boy and I definitely was more into crisps/bread/marmite haha with two boy pregnancies. However, never had a girl so can't comment on possible differences!

Heartburn meaning the baby will have a lot of hair.
I had horrible, horrible heartburn and reflux and my daughter came out like a little werewolf! Hair all over her back and forehead, and long black curls.

I had one boy one girl and yes, sweet for girl, savery for boy. Also, got more black hairs for boy, but also more hair growth in girl pregnancy so more subtle. Very minimal morning sickness for both.

Your wedding ring dangled on a piece of string over your bump - whichever direction it circled in (without any input from you) would determine whether it was a boy or a girl. I can't remember which way was which though.

Bad nausea and wanted sweeter things or beige food when pregnant with my daughter, with this boy pregnancy had no nausea and craved lots of salt, spicy things, sour things and vinegar

They’ve all been wrong for me! I had bad nausea (which only just seems to be stopping at 16 weeks), craved sweet food, had awful skin, hair and nails were dry, and at my private scans the baby’s heart rate was on the higher end of the range. So I was convinced it was a girl.

But my NIPT test at 10 weeks found he’s a boy. The Chinese gender prediction tool was right though 😂

Bad sickness = a girl. Think it’s just a total coincidence for me though because I don’t have any other symptoms that are apparently for a girl.

Don’t think the heartburn = lots of hair thing is very true either. I’ve not had any heartburn and my baby has so much hair on her head it’s been showing up on scans for a while now! Will see how hairy she is when she comes out in a few weeks.

I have two children, born 28 months apart. My pregnancies for both were absolutely identical - same symptoms (that also started and stooped in the same week gestation), same weight gain, and same bump shape. I felt exactly the same both times. I have a girl and a boy

I heard if you look at a woman from the back and can't tell she's pregnant, it's a boy. If you can tell, it's a girl.

Was true for me.

These are so interesting. I have such bad nausea, headaches, craving sour sweets, food aversions to anything with herbs/spice🤢 Chinese gender prediction says girl & I really want a girl (I know we shouldn't say that lol), so I hope it'll be a happy coincidence for me😂... obvs I'd be happy with a boy too, but I already have one! Would love one of each deep down😅

The Chinese gender prediction got it wrong both times for me OP😂 have you done the ring test? Wedding or engagement ring if you have it and a strand of your hair, hold it over bump and how it swings says girl or boy, can't remember which way is which. Bit of superstitious fun but was right for me!

I had awful heartburn with both of mine and both had full heads of hair when they were born
