Has anyone had morning sickness that stayed mild?

Just that really. - first time round I started having a loss of appetite around week 5, by week 6 I had 24/7 nausea and no appetite and nothing helped. Was awful but went away around 11/12 weeks.

this time I’ve had very mild waves of nausea and no loss of appetite or aversion to slells, usually when I need the loo or am extra tired or hungry. I’m only 6+4 and have felt the same since 6.

I know it could and probably will ramp up but has anyone ever had it just stay mild?

I have friends and relatives who never had anything other than brief periods of mild nausea, so fingers crossed.

Unfortunately I was hopeful at your gestation with this pregnancy because I'd already developed HG earlier than that in my previous two. But for some reason my sickness didn't really kick in until about 7 weeks this pregnancy and didn't become bad enough to be HG and stop me from doing normal activities until I was about 10 weeks. I'm 12 weeks now and nowhere near better, but I wasn't better until about week 20 in my earlier pregnancies so.

Mine stayed mild up till 12 weeks when it went. I never threw up, didn’t really have cravings or aversions until much late in pregnancy.
From week 6 to 12 I just felt nauseous throughout the day but not like I would actually be sick. Sometimes it would be a bit stronger, sometimes I’d not really notice it. But most days was just this underlying nauseous feeling which I kept at bay with sea sickness bands and ginger tea mostly.

Yup! Very mild occasionally but never really felt it. My main symptom was tiredness instead!

With dd2 my sickness was less and I was repulsed by different things. Also with both of mine it tended to pick up more around the 7th week so there is time op. Also some people are just never really sick so I guess you just can't conclude anything from it really 😁

i had none first time and felt a bit queasy in the early weeks second time around, it was usually eased by eating sugar and was completely gone by 12 weeks

I vomited twice throughout my entire pregnancy - once I am almost certain was brought on by eating too much (initial nausea subsided and I took advantage!) and the second weirdly was after the 20week scan in the car, which I think was relief!!

Very very mild nausea throughout.

Mine was mild both times as long as I drank orange juice (1st time) ate crisps (2nd time)

Mine has been mild in every pregnancy. This pregnancy has been the worst in terms of nausea in the first trimester, I'd feel sick unless I was eating but not physically vomiting. I've counted myself lucky even though nausea itself is a ball ache as some women have it so much worse.

I had intense nausea with my first pregnancy, lasting up to week 18. I'm now 10 weeks with my second and, although I get the odd wave, nausea doesn't seem to be a symptom!

SErunner · 13/04/2024 07:17

I'm exactly the same as you @Lalarara10. 6+5 today and only mild nausea that comes and goes, although I am feeling absolutely exhausted. My first pregnancy I had 24/7 nausea from around 6 weeks that was horrendous. It's making me worry things aren't right this time round but I'm trying to stay calm. I was on a lot of medication last time as it was an IVF pregnancy whereas this has been a somewhat miraculous natural conception after a lot more failed IVF. I'm trying to tell myself that could be the reason too. Are you having an early scan at all? I have one booked for when I'm 7+3 which was the same time I had one with our daughter.

Lalarara10 · 13/04/2024 16:55

Well today I’ve had an upset tummy and nausea all day long so I think I jinxed it yesterday by posting this 🫢!

@SErunner congratulations! It’s funny there’s always something to worry about either way but I’ve had plenty of friends have no symptoms and have perfectly healthy babies. Yes we have a scan booked around the same time which fingers crossed will make it all feel even more worth it!

Yes, mine stayed mild both times. With ds I had one horrible faint sick feeling 10 mins then realised I needed to eat constantly. After that it just felt like a mild constant hangover. With dd I felt sick sometimes for a couple of days then it would go for a few days (terrifying as I’d had several missed mc previously). I was never actually sick with either and it wasnt debilitating.
