Aspirin Pregnancy before 12 weeks?

Hi,
I had my booking appointment and my midwife asked my GP to prescribe me 150mg of Aspirin daily throughout my pregnancy.

I am 7 weeks + 1

It is my 2nd child and I have been prescribed it because I had preeclampsia with my 1st.

However, I read on the official NHS website that it should be taken after 12 weeks.

Anyone had any experience?

I took baby aspirin throughout, as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I wasn't advised to take it because of preeclampsia though but I believe it's fine to take, especially as midwife has advised you

I had to take aspirin when I found out I was pregnant x2 tablets at night time 150mg. I was told it was to help blood circulation in my womb as my first baby was small. I spoke to my consultant about it and they said it’s completely safe to take all the way up until the end of pregnancy if you’ve been advised to do so.
I stopped taking mine at 30 weeks and I’m now 37 and all has been fine x
