Movements at 20 weeks

Hi, So I'm starting to feel worried but I am also aware that I'm a very anxious person and it doesn't take a lot to stress me lol.

I'm a FTM and have a posterior placenta and was told I would feel movements earlier on. I feel like I MIGHT have felt the odd 'something' but thought I would feel more by now?

Should I be worried? I do have my 20 week scan tomorrow!

Thanks so much!

Easier said than done I know but please don't worry. The fact you think you've felt them means you probably definitely have! It's so hard to gauge initially as a FTM! With my son I was 19wks when I felt pretty certain that's what I was feeling and I know others are later still. I'm currently 22+1 with my second and have only dared to feel more secure about what I'm feeling over the last few days! Was sure it would be loads earlier as my second baby to get this far. I did think I felt then earlier with this one but couldn't quite get my head around it. I also have a posterior placenta btw so can't blame that! Although they've grown so much, there is still lots of space for them to wriggle at this point and they are still getting stronger etc so it's really fine. There is a reason we're not told to monitor movements until around 24wks.

I'm sure everything is absolutely fine and you'll be certain of them bopping you very soon! 😊 Good luck for tomorrow! 💕😊
