Scan was at 6+2 and fetal pole wasn’t measurable, so no seeing a heart beat as could not mesure the pole. What was the latest people still saw a pole on a viable pregnancy? Google tells me it should be visible by 6 1/2 weeks. Dates are exact as was IVF.

My clinic don't scan until at least 7 weeks for this reason. I don't know why places scan earlier unless there is a reason to suspect there is a location concern. It could be fine, but it could not. Unfortunately you won't know unless you have another scan in a week or so. By 7 weeks a heart beat should be visible. Wishing you luck.

Thank you for replying. I know the correct answer is just to wait.

It doesn't make it the easy answer though! The waiting is so tough. Hope you get a positive update next week x
