Positive test CD22 - HOW?! Anyone else get a super early positive?

Had an ERPC on 13th Feb this year as sadly lost twins. Got negative tests from 2 weeks after procedure

First period returned 16th March & today I have just received a positive test! Very faint, but definitely there as took 2 to confirm & compared to my previous negatives. Both showed up within 5 minutes. Used the Blue HCG strip tests with pink dye

I’m cycle day 22 & all ovulation tests I took were negative, so I wasn’t even convinced I’d ovulated this cycle.

Has anyone else has a positive this early with or without a previous miscarriage? I suppose part of me is hoping it’s twins again & they’ve come back to us somehow. Silly i know!

I’ll attach an image of when we DTD this month also

Thanks all x

When did you start the ovulation tests? Sometimes after a miscarriage you can ovulate earlier or later than usual. CD22 was (is) 8-10dpo for me so totally possible to get a faint positive then.

I had a 2 miscarriages in a row then a viable pregnancy the following cycle (so pregnant 3 cycles in a row) late 2022 and I missed my peak with the viable pregnancy so I must have peaked very quickly.

So sorry for your losses. 😔💕 From your calendar, if you ovulated around CD 12/13 that would now put you at 9/10 dpo and lots of people get positives from then. As PP said, MC can mess with your ovulation and bring it forward/push it back. I had a 24 day cycle after one of my losses and am normally like clockwork for 29 days. I definitely see a line on your test. Everything crossed for you that this is a healthy rainbow baby (or babies 🌈🌈🙏🏼).

I had my first positive CD20, which was 8DPO for me. I'm now almost 25 weeks 😊

I had a faint positive at 8 dpo and I'm currently 9+4, previous loss last year so it's took a while for me but definitely possible to get one this early. I didnt track ovulation that cycle so no idea when i ovulated and haven't had dating scan yet but convinced I'll be slightly further ahead based on how I early I got the faint line xxx wishing you lots of luck 💕

I got a faint positive very much like yours at 9dpo which was my CD22 after a loss in December. I'm now 10+3. Good luck OP!
