Hi, I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I’m in a lot of pain already. The middle of my back if aching constantly and I’ve got really sore muscles under my rib cage. The pain is between my ribs and belly button and every time I cough/sneeze/ even yawn it’s just so painful and feels like pulled muscles. I didn’t have this in my first pregnancy so wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar so early on? I haven’t gained any weight and my belly hasn’t grown yet so I’m not sure if it’s something I should be worried about. Haven’t seen the midwife yet to ask but it’s starting to worry me xx

It could be ectopic you need to be seen urgently.

This doesn't sound normal I'd get seen asap x

My first thought was ectopic. Please see a doctor asap.

This could be an ectopic which can be life threatening so you need to be seen today. Go to a&e.
