Hi there. Want to know how the ivf fet medications are generally weaned off? Currently on progynova, evorel, Cyclogest and lubion. Really anxious about stopping g the medications 😢 my clinic has asked me to stop the medications at 11weeks

My clinic weaned me off Cyclogest, Estradiol and Lubion gradually from nine weeks, and asked me to stop completely from 12 weeks. I went from two pessaries a day to one, four tablets a day to three, then to two, and one injection a day to one every other day. I'm now off all medication and it was really scary transition, but I trusted my clinic and fingers crossed, everything seems to be OK.

Same here, weaned off slowly. The placenta takes over between 9 and 12 weeks so medication won't do anything after that stage anyway. My clinic suggested being off all meds by 10 weeks but I had progesterone left so just cut it down and stopped at 12 weeks.

Did you wean the estrogen supplements (progynova and evorel) as well ? Or just stopped them ?

Yes - I went from four Progynova tablets a day to three, then to two. I completely stopped at 12 weeks.

Listen to your clinic, they know what they're doing :)
