Turning a breech baby

I’m 33 weeks today and baby is still breech. I’ve never felt any movement above my belly button and half the time I can see baby’s head sticking out from under my ribs. I am so desperate to turn this baby! I can’t breathe and I can’t bend over!

Has anyone successfully flipped their baby using inversions etc? I keep trying every time baby is active but reflux and heartburn is making being upside down so unappealing right now 😷

Hi OP! My baby had literally been breech my entire third trimester, we were given until 36 weeks for her to turn before they would refer for a presentation scan and potentially do an ECV or book our c section in. She was still breech at that point so we were booked to go last week, turned up to the hospital all ready with our hospital bags packed and they agreed to scan one last time- she’d gone head down!

Between those appointments I was literally doing everything you can think of, all the youtube videos, on my birthing ball 24/7, hanging off the sofa and the bed, allllll the exercises, walking 4-5 miles a day- I did everything and something or a combination of those somethings worked!

I’ll be honest, I just went with it, refused EVC and was booked in for a section. I did feel the baby trying to turn at various points which was a very strange sensation. Very uncomfortable in my ribs towards the end. I just really didn’t feel EVC was the right thing to do (that’s personal choice, obviously) I was active in my pregnancy but didn’t do any specific exercises to try to turn- just some yoga and lots of walking. the day of the section he was still head down although the consultant said I could have still gone ahead with the op even if he’d turned. I had a really positive c section and a good recovery. His hips were checked early on, fine, and absolutely no problems now he’s 2.5.
