Hi girls. Just wanna get some advice about being a rhesus neg blood type. My midwife recently informed me that I would need to get the anti D injection routinely and also if I experience any knock/bump to the stomach. My sausage dog is always catching me in the side of the stomach, it’s uncomfortable for a second but I don’t know what warrants a trip to get one? Midwife says a knock from a table corner can do it. Anybody else in the same situation thank you. 💖

I would call your midwife to double check when you have a bump, that way they can confirm if you need an extra injection. I've just had a routine one at 28 weeks with no issues and no mention of addition ones apart from the next routine one at 36 weeks. I'm not in the UK so it may be different here.
