Bare with me please I’m currently 4 weeks pregnant I suffered a ectopic 10 months ago what resulted in tube removal so back then I didint take notice of any symptoms apart from the pain in the belly and what felt like a knife being shoved up the bum. Any way as I stated I’m 4 weeks pregnant I don’t know if I’m just symptom spotting until my scan on the 9th. Yesterday I suffered from really achey shoulders and neck I felt as if I had dead’s arms I’ve had a constant back ache. Dull cramps seem to be on the side I have my remaining tube has any one had this and there pregnancies turned out to be in the right place?

I had an ectopic last year and 7weeks pregnant now (all in right place this time).

I was really conscious of every twinge and pain especially anything one sided. This time I’ve had very mild pain, cramping, a little lower back ache and some trapped wind but they are all very normal pregnancy symptoms that worryingly sometimes feel similar to ectopic.
I also read on the ectopic pregnancy trust forum of most women feeling the same in the early weeks.

I will say that I was in constant considerable pain with ectopic, and had the same sensation as you in my bum area. I found the pain didn’t really go away.
This time I kept a little log in my phone notes on the place and length of the discomfort pain and realised it was pretty much all over and would pass after a short while.

Hope all goes well at your scan and whispered congratulations x
