Best way to hide a bump

I'm only 10 weeks but god I'm so the size of a house already. I have a 3 year old but had a late loss at 20 weeks last year and this is a very high risk pregnancy so I was hoping to keep it quiet until at least the anomaly scan. I've had to stop wearing the tummy control tights as they were so painful. Any outfit recommendations? It doesn't help that in short and petite and it's showing so fast this time.

Empire lines?
I'd layer if you can with log tops, cardigans, a bit of a lagenlook?

Depending on the circumstances, carrying things in front of you is helpful, so if you're at work always walk round holding a folder or whatever. I appreciate that's not really going to work with family and friends as easily.

This is a good idea. My family don't live nearby so it's easy enough to hide from them. I also don't see friends that often so I can push that out. It's just work I have to hide it really! I work in an office and I'm sat down a lot and will use folders to cover!

Oh also I found a drapey scarf with the odd comment about how freezing the air con was helpful.

Leggings and an oversized knitted sweater type outfit? Or any oversized type shirt?

Snap. Exactly! Congratulations. x

Following the same principle, a large cross-over bag, strategically placed, will work for when you're out and about

And also, congratulations. It must be a scary time and I perfectly understand your reasons for doing this

Thanks everyone. Some good tips. I was quite upset earlier that I was showing so early. I'm still in denial really. I have a few dresses that are generous around the stomach area so hopefully should hide it a bit with a cardigan for a week or so. I'm probably kidding myself that I can hide it for that long but I want to hide it as long as possible.

Baggy blouses, tuck them in but have a big bit overhanging to allow for expansion, if that makes sense!

And long l loose scarves.

Anything to draw attention elsewhere!

Cross body bag to the side, hold the bit if strap in front of your body.

And posture, hold yourself tall.

Congratulations 🎉
