Hi
I'm 27 weeks pregnant. Met up with a friend today to walk our dogs, we were walking for 1 & a half hours, in a hilly park at a moderate pace. I've overdone it and now I'm in so much discomfort.
Feels like when you sit on a really hard bicycle seat and get that awful ache in your bones of your bum afterwards. It hurts to walk and I'm waddling now!!
Sounds over the top but that's how it is! I'm guessing this is pelvic girdle pain!
Any ideas how to ease the pain. Been sat on the sofa since I got back home but whenever I move the pain starts again.
I was going to try having a bath but I don't know how I'd get in and out!!

I started getting it when I walk, mentioned it to my midwife and she referred me to the physio straight away who gave me exercises and a compress. Could be worth seeing if you can get a referral too? They said its better to start it earlier as by 30 odd weeks its too late

Thanks for your reply, I will see if I can get physio. I am kicking myself for overdoing it, it was a lovely walk but I didn't realise it'd take this much of a toll on me! Ah well you live and learn I suppose!!

The pelvic partnership is great, has a list of people who can help you too. I see an osteopath when I start getting it and it helps massively.
