Did anyone else just feel lethargic/off in the first trimester?

I’m 6 weeks and other than slightly sore boobs, I just feel off! That’s the best way to describe it. I feel like you feel on the day after you get better from a stomach bug - not really wanting any food, feeling sick at the thought of foods, lethargic and fatigued but not fall asleep tired. Does this sound normal?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I’ve had friends like that, friends who’ve vomited multiple times a day and friends who felt nothing at all! There’s a whole spectrum of symptoms. Try to be glad yours are mild! And congrats!

Also six weeks is still very early, things can ramp up towards weeks 8-9 before the placenta takes over. Hopefully yours stays mild.

It has been 20 years but I remember not feeling like I fancied any food at all for most of the first trimester. Unfortunately for the second and third I wanted ALL THE FOOD and gained about 3 or 4 stone 😫

I started feeling this from 4 weeks (despite everyone saying you don't get symptoms until later.) I'm now nearly 13 weeks and have felt kinda hungover the entire time.

Haven’t been pregnant for 25years but I can still remember the absolute exhaustion and lethargy in the first 3 months ! Only food and drink I couldn’t face was sweet food and alcohol!! Am glad about that TBH . Congratulations BTW .X
These symptoms were from 4 weeks and prompted me to do a test.

Yes I was absolutely exhausted my first trimester.

And appetite was ZERO from the get go throughout my whole pregnancy.

Rosesanddaisies1 · 25/03/2024 19:29

Yep very normal.

I was totally exhausted for my first trimester. I felt like I was made of lead.
The nausea ramped up quickly too which made matters even worse.

I e had 3 babies, 1st trimester is the absolute worst much worse than later pregnancy

It's like a massive 3 month hangover
