Movement at 23w

Hi ladies🫶🏻
I’m currently 23w pregnant with twins and have some worries about the inconsistent movement that I experience often. There are days that I have a proper party in belly for straight 2 days and then the next 2 I will have less movement.
I mentioned my worries to my consultant and she said that at this stage there is no ‘’normal’’ movement expectations and that it’s up to my mother instinct if something’s wrong😅 which not really helped.

I would love to hear what you experienced at this stage🫶🏻

I’d say that’s really accurate to be honest! The NHS guidance I think is that they don’t actually class it as being official “reduced movements” before 28 weeks because before that there isn’t going to be any kind of pattern and basically as long as you feel some movement in a day then typically that’s “okay”.

I’m due in a few weeks and this has also had me questioning everything for the last 4 months of my pregnancy, they always just say “you’ll know when something is up” and I always just think hmm I hope so!🥲

I am 27 weeks with one baby, didn't feel anything properly until 22 weeks. Now I do feel movement but there's no pattern. It can be really worrying as some days are very quiet but just as I think about panicking I'll get some activity. I haven't had to call yet but I do know that apparently you won't be fobbed off and will get checked if you have genuine concerns.

@JRTfan i experience the exact same thing - the second I’m about to make a call they start dancing🤣
it’s just so worrying to not know if you will actually realize when something is “off”
