9DPO am I going mad

Background- Currently TTC our 2nd baby our first DS is 3 years old. I had the copper coil removed just over a month ago and have been testing with OPK so BD at the right time.
Our DS was conceived within 1 month of trying and we were truly blessed.

I'm currently 9DPO and because I am impatient have tested yesterday and today but BFN.

However with I have had nausea for the past 2 days (hence testing) all day nausea where I actually having to try really hard not to be sick.
I had HG with my first pregnancy which I ended in hospital multiple times due to dehydration.

Question is could I be pregnant and getting symptoms even though BFN? Or is my body cruelty playing tricks on me? Anyone had negatives at 9dpo then positive later on?

its the hormones that cause the pregnancy symptoms like nausea, if the hcg was high enough to cause symptoms then it would be high enough to show on a test. Of course this doesn’t mean you aren’t pregnant, but it’s too early at this point.

I'd say it's too early to know for sure. I was testing stark white negative at 9dpo and on the morning of 10dpo. I then had a vvvvfl on a FRER that was only visible if I took the test apart. I didn't get a convincing line that I didn't have to squint or hold in a certain way to see until about 13dpo.

Good luck!

I was the same as you, HG with first...this time round I had nausea from 7dpo and felt like I just knew, got a faint line from 11DPO. HG again too

@BeautyAndTheBump1 thank you that's reassuring in some way that perhaps I'm not going mad. Was your HG as bad this time? Did you test before 11dpo and get a negative?
Another day of feeling absolutely horrendous, left woke earlier my nausea was that bad.

@ChristinaB1203 fingers crossed for you! I thought I was going mad and imagining it. I didn't test before 11dpo, it was very faint then so I imagine if I had it would've been negative. The HG has been bad I won't lie, get them to put you straight on the meds if you do get a positive I've read it can help alot!

@BeautyAndTheBump1 Got my BFP today so I guess I wasn't losing my mind after all. Very faint but definitely there (on the 4 tests I took to check 🤣).
Going to wait a couple of weeks and if the nausea hasn't settled i'll be right onto the doctors as i can't be as poorly this time with a toddler!

@ChristinaB1203 congratulations! 😘❤️ so you weren't imagining it haha! Your story sounds very similar to mine. Hopefully you don't get HG again and it stays tame! All the best 🥰
