15 weeks and no movement yet

This is my third baby! I felt my first around 17 weeks and my second I had also felt the odd poke/kick about now too but nothing consistent until maybe again closer to 17/18 weeks. This time around I’ve felt nothing so far, not a thing.

I suffer so badly with anxiety and I’m allowing my mind to get the better of me. I have my gender scan next week and I’m telling myself I’ll be told bad news.

My 2 sons were born via c section, could that have something to do with me not feeling movement just yet? I have no idea where my placenta is, they never mentioned it at my 12 week scan! I really am making myself stressed over this and I wish I wasn’t! 😩

15 weeks is very early to be getting any movement. with my first i didn't feel anything, even flutters, til 23 weeks and she was perfectly healthy.

likely just depending on babies position and the position of the placenta

If you look at your scan report, it should say the position of your placenta. Mine is anterior and I didn't feel any movement at all until 20 weeks.

There’s nothing written about my placenta on it at all 😩 If I remember rightly with my second (I forget with my first) they didn’t tell me until my 20 week scan the position of my placenta! Stressful 😩

It's normal, I am 23 weeks pregnant with my 4th and have only really felt her since week 19 and even then it wasn't often, its only now I am getting movement everyday, I know its hard not to worry but it is common to not feel them at 15 weeks they are so small

This is very reassuring thank you. You read everywhere how you feel your second, third, fourth etc way earlier each time which just hasn’t been the case for me at all!

15 weeks is quite early , even for subsequent pregnancies, it all depends on your placenta and where baby is situated ect. There's so much fluid in there baby has plenty of space.
I have a posterior placenta so I shouldn't have an issue feeling baby move but I don't feel anything unless I'm lying down and even then i hardly feel it kick. Some days I feel nothing but I had my last scan a week ago and they said baby is extremely active. I'm 23w

It also hasn't been the case for me, the amount of children I've had hasn't meant I've felt them sooner at all in fact I felt this one later than my first!
