Reduced movements but told everything is fine?

Hi all!
I'm a first time teen mum (19) and I'm currently 26 weeks and 5 days.
I went to my local hospital on Tuesday due to no movement all day where I was literally in and out in 10 minutes, they checked his heartbeat said all was fine and sent me on my way.
Since I've had little to no movement and have tried to play it off as normal but today I've had nothing whatsoever. One thing to note is I've had a very active baby since 16 weeks, he's usually always bouncing around and kicking me especially in the evenings however I'm just continually told everything is fine.
My local hospital is out of town and I don't drive so going to the maternity ward everytime I have reduced movement is expensive and difficult and I feel like I'm just being fobed off because I'm young.
Any advice?

Have you tried lying on your side and drinking cold Coke or orange juice? The sugar usually gives baby a boost. I would go back to the hospital and get re-checked. It must be hard to think you're being fobbed off but please do persist.

I think you need to go back to be checked over again.

You and baby really need to be checked over again, please ring the ward and go back up, I wouldn’t wait until morning if there’s been little movement all day.. is there anyway you could get any family/friends to take you in tonight? I completely appreciate the public transport issue.

Definitely go & get checked out. They should be listening to your concerns!

You need to just keep going back unfortunately until your happy/ comfortable with their analysis. I had to go in and be monitored everyday for the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy due to no movement.

It's normal for them to do a brief check , but if you go back again they would usually arrange another US scan. Go back, don't sit and worry at home . Hope you're ok.

Hi OP, hopefully you've been able to get somewhere with the hospital today? If not then could you or a family member be become more pushy, don't let them fob you off.
Also, have you tried contacting your midwife, they may be able to suggest something to help or contact your hospital on your behalf and advocate for you. Is there another hospital you could be referred to?
