I booked a holiday to Cape Verde a while back. I am due to travel in just over a week but I've just found out I am pregnant today!

Can you speak to your insurance company? Due to the zika virus risk it may be that you’d be covered under insurance.

also worth talking to the travel operator who may be prepared to transfer yih to a different destination

If you look at the cdc zika map , it’s majority purple where they have past cases , there’s nowhere red which is current outbreaks

its graded the same as Mexico where I went when I was 5/6 weeks pregnant
if you do go just stock up on mozzy spray , and stick to the hotel and Costal areas , avoid the jungle areas
