I'm soooo thankful to be blessed with this pregnancy.
But I'm big and uncomfortable and can't move breathe eat. The suspense is maddening. Regular bouts of contractions then to nothing.
And she is ssooooooo wriggly which is super uncomfortable.
Won't be induced until next weekend.
Really struggling with the idea of waiting that long :(

40+2 here and swinging from irritability at not knowing when she'll come, to wanting to keep busy to pass the days away, equally can't be bothered to do anything as I'm getting bigger by the day. At least if I knew a day, I could plan my week and pass the time and not focus on it so much.

Oh you have my full sympathy! I went to 42+3 (sorry) and she never moved down so I had 9lbs of squashed up child in/on my ribs. She used to flex her toes at either side of me whenever I lay down. Which at that point was a lot of the time.

I started to feel like it was all a giant practical joke!!

I remember my friend visiting me in hospital with magazines, and one had a story about cryptic pregnancy and this woman had done 9 months out and about and bungee bloody jumping oblivious and I was FURIOUS. I was the size of Greater Manchester and hadn't bent over in what felt like years.

It won't be long now!

All of this Emma. I'm so surprised at how frustrated I am which I'm sure isn't going to help her come any quicker! Forced a walk this morning.

I went for a 2 hour dog walk on due date and thought I could feel something happening.. it wad just a stitch and I needed the toilet 🤣 I keep getting a bit of period pain, but nothing useful.
I have a toddler too, so I'm trying to keep up with her, entertain her etc., but I'd quite like to just nap away the next week or so and wake up to something happening.

I'm 35 wks and 2 days and I'm like this already and haven't had a good nights sleep in weeks. First dc arrived 41+ 5 just hours before I was booked into be induced so hoping this one wouldn't be overdue and come during the Easter holiday. Good luck op, hope she hurries up.

I had my girl almost 2 weeks ago at 40+1 😀 you’re almost there!

At this stage in the game, the only thought that kept me sane was - it can happen any minute now.

I’m 38+3 and I’m starting to feel like this. I’ve had a lovely easy pregnancy, but now it feels like the whole of my pelvis is bruised and it’s agony to walk. I wanted to keep myself busy in the final week and a half so the time goes faster, but now that I’m forced to rest I feel like it’s going to be a very long wait! Need ways of keeping myself busy, from the couch.
