Hello

Last night, I started feeling shivery then overnight was awake most of the night between shivery and sweating. Have been very much off my food yesterday and today as well as throwing up a bit more than usual!

I spoke to 111 as I’m really concerned about listeriosis and they referred me to the pharmacy who just told me to go home and rest with paracetamol if needed.

I’m so so worried that I’ve picked a listeria infection off some pre packaged sandwiches I’ve eaten and that if I do nothing it will hurt my baby. The NHS says the only symptom for pregnant women is fever and that’s why I’m worried we could be missing it.

does anyone have advice? This is our first very much wanted baby!

Didn't want to read and run! How are u feeling now? Are you taking paracetamol for fever? Could you go to a walk in centre of fever continues ? X

why do you think you have listeria from pre-packed sandwiches? Was there a reported outbreak?

I still feel the same. No appetite but forced a slice of cheese on toast down. I’ve slept for most of the afternoon.

On the NHS website it says they’re a risk and they’re the only thing I can think that I’ve eaten off there as I’ve been really careful.
just don’t want to miss anything but equally don’t want to be seen as being dramatic 😫
