Hi everyone.
Just wanting a bit of reassuring I think!!
I am roughly 11+3 (dating scan is Wednesday next week) and I've realised today my boobs aren't sore anymore...
I had a mmc in October, I thought I was 9 weeks but baby's heartbeat had stopped at about 7 weeks. When I thought about it afterwards my boobs had stopped hurting but as it was my 1st pregnancy I didn't really think.
I am now absolutely terrified that history is repeating itself. I have read that symptoms can slow towards the end of first trimester.
Can any of you lovely people share your experiences in the same scenario?

Symptoms come and go throughout pregnancy so try to relax if you can (I know it's hard after a loss) the first trimester is commonly where you have the worst symptoms then you get a bit of a reprieve in the second trimester then you struggle a bit more as you get bigger in the third trimester

Hey OP. I’m currently 22+1 and end of first and most of second trimester has been a breeze for me. Other than the tiredness and diarrhoea on and off. My boobs have barely hurt throughout and haven’t got bigger. We are all different try not to compare to others x

I was exactly the same. Now 13 weeks and had 2 scans (1 Nhs and 1 private) and all fine. I think it was about 9 weeks I suddenly felt better and thought something was up too.

try not to worry, I know easier said than done and Wednesday will be here soon

Same! Stuck with my same underwired bras throughout both pregnancies. I have a 6YO and a 3YO.

Hi OP

Congratulations! Try and enjoy your news although I know it’s so difficult that wait for the first scan is tedious but hopefully everything will be perfect for you.

My boobs hurt the first few weeks, it was my main symptom - after a few weeks it went away and then never came back. They never grew either and everyone kept telling me they would. I still was an A cup with no swelling or pain! Then the further I got in the pregnancy I was worried about not making any milk as my boobs were still tiny and not sore. I now have my boob in the mouth of my lovely 1 month old baby!

Symptoms are soooo different for each person OP and your body will prepare in different ways to others! Sending you love! X

When is your scan? im sure baby is fine, symptoms to ease off around the 11-12 week mark x

The sore boobs calmed down for me after the first semester. So I'd suggest that's what it is.

My boobs stopped hurting around the same tome, totally normal!

MrsCeecee · 15/03/2024 17:32

Towards the end of the first trimester it’s totally normal for symptoms to start to wane - my morning sickness declined about then (though came back a couple weeks later!!) My boob pain was on and off the whole pregnancy.
