Hello everyone.

I had a US today due to some spotting the other day & previous miscarriage.

I'm 6 weeks, they saw 1 embryo with no heartbeat measuring 5.1mm. Even if I got my ovulation date wrong would that even count?

They said it was inconclusive. They didn't say I was definitely having a miscarriage. But didn't say I wasn't. They can't tell this early obviously.

Has anyone gone for a scan at 6 weeks weeks, seen the embryo and got a success story? 😕

Two week wait till my next scan now to see what's happened 😫

A similar situation - had quite a heavy bleed, was scanned at 6 weeks exactly and there was a fetal pole and yolk sac but no heartbeat. After two nerve-wracking weeks, returned to the clinic to see and hear a beating heart, and he's now almost five. I hope you get a happy outcome.

6 weeks is only on a cusp of expecting to see a heartbeat, particularly if you ovulated/implanted later than expected. Unfortunately you can only wait and see.
