18 weeks no movements

Should I be feeling baby movements at 18 weeks? Not feeling at all and getting concerned. I seem to remember previous pregnancy having movements earlier.

It's still quite early and if the placenta is in a different position then you might not feel anything yet.

I didn't feel anything until 19-20 weeks. You may also have an anterior placenta which can make movements harder to feel. Try not to worry at this stage xx

Very very normal to not feel anything yet

I’m 18 weeks and haven’t felt anything. I had a private reassurance scan yesterday and the placenta is at the front, most likely “catching” all the kicks/movement. It’s also not uncommon not to feel anything up until 22 weeks. Are you able to book a scan to put your kind at rest?

I didn't feel anything until 21 weeks and now feel loads of movement (25 weeks) I have an anterior placenta which may have delayed the feelings in the 1st place but certainly doesn't stop me feeling the kicks now!

I'm also 18wks with my second. My first pregnancy I felt movement at 19wks, and with this being my second I thought I'd feel them earlier this time. I thought I felt some tiny flutters around 15wks but then not much since. The last couple of days I've wondered if I'm feeling them again but again, not absolutely certain! As PPs said, it's very normal and can depend on placenta position too. 😊

I'm 18 weeks tomorrow and have felt absolutely nothing so far! I have an anterior, low lying placenta so I've been told this may hinder being able to feel movement early on xx

Fifth baby and this time with anterior placenta I didn’t feel any movement until 19/20 weeks.
