Should I call Maternity Triage?

I've just had a BFP on clear blue digital this morning after a couple days of very faint lines. It's very early as AF wasn't due till Wednesday/Thursday.

On Friday morning I slipped in the kitchen and landed right on my bum in a sitting position. It was a hard knock and I've got sore back / thigh muscles.

The reason for the post is that I'm a negative blood group and so when I had a fall during my last pregnancy at 17 weeks, I had to call maternity triage to have an anti-D injection. I'm wondering if I should be doing that again now? Or will it not matter before the placenta is formed? I believe it can be given up to 72 hours after the event and it's been 48 now, so I'd need to act today if I should. Any advice would be welcome 🙏

Definitely check with them and not a bunch of randoms on the internet. They can tell you over the phone whether they need to see you or not.

Ring and ask them

There’s never any harm in phoning and chatting through your worries with them!

I believe they will say that as it’s before the baby’s blood system has formed there is nothing to worry about from an anti-D perspective, but phone them and chat it through.

Good luck!

Thanks guys! Of course you're right - I think I just needed to hear it from someone else, as I don't want to seem like I'm overreacting! I'll give them a call x

Just an update ladies - I called and the midwife said that it wouldn't be a consideration before 12 weeks so at this very early stage (not even 4 weeks yet!) it's nothing to worry about. Thank you for the encouragement. Mind at ease now 🙏
