Hi,

I had a private scan last Friday and seen my baby for the first time at 8 weeks and a very healthy heartbeat it was amazing! However my symptoms seem to be easing off now at 9 weeks although I do feel like my tiredness has ramped up a lot.

Did anyone else feel like this? The scan did show my baby is measuring a week ahead so I was 8 weeks+2 days last Friday but baby measured 9+1. I'm not sure if I'm actually further ahead in terms of weeks or not and maybe that's why my symptoms are easing. However I've been told to wait for my 12 week scan to see what they date me as.

I just don't feel pregnant, despite seeing the baby move etc it seems so surreal! Did anyone else feel this way? The lack of symptoms also doesn't help 😂

When I was pregnant with my first I didn’t really have any symptoms.

this time around (also 9 weeks btw) I have symptoms (but probably because I’m having twins) but they do come and go! I was so sick over the last weekend and today I’m nearly 100% fine.

i did ask my midwife and she said that’s all perfectly normal though!

I think if you have seen a heartbeat it is a very good sign so try not to worry. Anxiety is powerful and can overshadow your other feelings!! It's such a stressful time the first three months, but really try to relax, mediate etc :)

I had a scare in my pregnancy: I started bleeding heavily and it looked very much like a miscarriage. For a whole week I thought I was no longer pregnant and did not feel any symptoms (I was around 9 weeks). All was fine and my daughter is 4 now :) I really wish I did not stress that much!

I had a 6 week scan and saw heartbeat but despite that at an 8 week scan (IVF pregnancy) I was convinced there would be nothing there because I felt nothing at all..no symptoms.
I'm almost 25 weeks now and only feel pregnant because I feel the baby wriggling about! I think we expect to feel a certain way but it's actually quite common to have mild or no symptoms. I've also been told they do come and go and can ease off around 9-10 weeks as that's when the placenta takes over. If you don't have any worrying symptoms then I would assume all is fine.

I am just over 7 weeks and i feel the same as you. The only symptom i have is fatigue. I am falling asleep everyday after work at the moment. Oh and bloating! As it is my second, my bloating is unreal.

With my first, i had horrible nausea. I guess we are just lucky to not have many symptoms.

I have had a few scares with bleeds but baby is growing and heart beat flickering away nicely.

Congratulations!
