I've just found a good deal for the above bedside crib.
Anyone else had it and would recommend it?
Or any alternatives you would recommend?

Following thread as Interested to hear people's opinions. I'm torn between a next to me bed or a moses basket

I don't have this yet... But ironically, we bought it online today and are expecting delivery this week!

From what we looked into, this suited all our needs. Friends of ours recommend the brand and said they absolutely loved theirs x

Ours held a lot of washing. My top tip is to get an Uppababy Vista travel system. The bassinet has a vented base and is certified for safe sleeping. You can then essentially move the babies bed whenever and wherever you want. They get used to sleeping in it. Save you some money for something that will only last a few months. The Vista is also an excellent pram and you can pick them up very cheaply second hand just make sure it’s from a smoke free home.

Thank you!
I'm going to get an Inglesina pram which has a bassinet that can be used overnight and we plan to use during the day in the living room but I want a separate sleeping cot for the bedroom

We have a chicco next to me but not the evo version which looks like it rocks?
It works really well for us, my baby is 90th centile for length and it fitted him for 5 months. Most babies would fit comfortably for 6 months. We suspected we would have big babies as we are both tall and the chicco is fairly generous compared with some others. We leave the side down attached to the bed and we are breastfeeding so that's really helped with the transfer and not having to get up.

Moses basket wouldn't have lasted us beyond a few weeks. Even average babies would be 3 or 4 months max.

We used a chicco next to me, not that version but possibly the dream. We used it from when ds was about 2 weeks old until he turned 8 months old! His head was just touching the top when we realised it was time for his own room. We got a lot of use out of it though. Our second best item for ds, after the playmat that a friend got us.

He didn’t like the next2me for the first few weeks and instead we used the carrycot from the pushchair for downstairs. Then we transitioned by putting him in the next2me for the first sleep of the night (eg 2hrs) and then eventually all the sleeps in the night. He transitioned well. Then it was night time sleep in the next2me and daytime naps in the carrycot. He grew out of the carry cot by 4-5 months old.
