Fever during pregnancy

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and yesterday I had a high temperature. It was around 38°C but got up to around 38.6°C. I treated myself at home with paracetamol and keeping cool and the next day my temperature has gone down. However I'm very worried about the baby. The day before I got ill I felt a lot of flutters but now I barely feel any. Maybe felt one or two.

If you’re having reduced movement and not feeling well then I’d contact your local maternity triage for some advice.
I’m sure it will all be okay but best to run it past them
and they can decide if you need to be checked over.

(Update in case anyone sees this post in the future)
The next day I felt baby's little flutters again. The high temperature was affecting the baby because of the lack of flutters so I had to make sure to keep myself cool which I was able to. I also had the flu vaccine and knew it was a cold/flu. It was a virus so I didn't need to be prescribed antibiotics. In my first trimester I had gone through something similar and was told by my GP and 111 to keep myself cool and take paracetamol so I just followed the same instructions. However if my temperature ever got too high, couldn't be controlled at home and I wasn't exactly sure what I had caught (as in it could be caused by an infection that was dangerous for the baby) I would have gone to the hospital. Also since baby is not kicking yet I could rely on that as an indicator
