Very irregular ’contractions’ - one every 90 minutes???

This is my second baby but first was induced in hospital so this feels very different.

i was quite crampy on and off yesterday and then over night I’ve been having painful (not full labour painful but definitely causing an ooh ooh ahh ahh) painful contractions all night - but, they have only been every hour to 90 minutes. I decided to try and sleep, but am now up and bouncing on my ball to see if they come more frequently though again another hour has passed and nothing… is it normal for them to be so infrequent?

Or is this just braxton hicks? They feel pretty strong and intense for BH

Yes, it’s normal, maybe braxton hicks, but also could be the start of labour, nothing you can do but wait and see.
