Hi all, I'm currently pregnant with my rainbow pregnancy after I had a missed miscarriage in November last year.

Going by my period I should be about 6 weeks now but the EPU scan dated me around 4 weeks. I'm also spotting which is super triggering as I had that with my last pregnancy which ended in the miscarriage. I definitely could have ovulated very late as my cycles weren't regulated since the miscarriage (and even before then as I had only started getting periods again a couple months before the mc, as my youngest was only 11 months old at the time)

Has anyone been through similar and still had a successful pregnancy? I am so worried about going through another miscarriage, I wouldn't wish it on anyone!

I had spotting around 6 weeks, and it's all fine, I'm 9 weeks now. Same as you, I had a miscarriage last year which began with spotting so I found it quite worrying.

I had spotting around 6-7 weeks with both pregnancies and all has been fine. I was dated as I expected but I knew exactly when I’d ovulated because I’d been tracking it, whereas it’s easy to be a couple of weeks out if that’s not the case. I hope everything goes ok for you.

@Rosesanddaisies1 that's very reassuring, thank you so much for sharing!

@OopsieeDaisy thanks so much for sharing lovely, that's quite reassuring! That's the thing - I am not clueless about when I ovulated but I also do not exactly know when. So it is possible that I am actually only 4/5 weeks along and this will be a healthy full pregnancy but the recent miscarriage has definitely scarred me a little! Thank you so much ❤️

Hi I went for an early scan at 7 weeks but the baby was measuring 6 weeks so was told to come back in 10 days. The baby was fine but still measuring a week behind my last period date so they adjusted my due date back a week. I had a subchronic haematoma with my first and spotted on and off from week 6-10 with this pregnancy. All turned out fine and 37 weeks now 🙏🏻 good luck

Reading your post almost thinking I had wrote it as I am having the same thing. This would be my first baby though!
I had a miscarriage in November and I think I am 6 weeks on Friday but went into EPU with bleeding last week and they think I’m early and must have ovulated late. I had more brown discharge today and I am finding it very hard to curb my growing anxiety. And for the scan to push the date back i feel like every hour goes by slowly let alone day and weeks! I don’t know how to get myself into a positive mindset but I need too asap!!
got everything crossed for you.

@Psmama22 thank you so much for your reply! It's really reassured me. I was thinking if I have a subchorionic haematoma too but nothing was picked up on the scan so I'm not too sure. Praying for a beautiful smooth birth and postpartum for you! ❤️

@30somethingttc oh my gosh wow! My miscarriage was in November too! How similar are our experiences ❤️. I'm praying your rainbow pregnancy goes well and you'll be able to hold your baby in your arms this year! I can really imagine - it's so difficult to think positively when you've had a previous loss. I have two living children so I've had previous pregnancies before the miscarriage and this one, and even still I am struggling to be positive! I really hope all goes well for you! Thank you so much for your reply.
