Late period but negative test

My period was due to start yesterday, but so far no signs of it. I did a digital test this morning and it said not pregnant. Can I assume that’s correct? I’m unsure when I ovulated as I didn’t test this month, but I’m currently on CD 33 and usually my cycles are 32 days. Should I test again in a few days or is it safe to say I’m not pregnant?

I would test again in a few days. A gp would usually suggest up to 7 days late to take a test just incase.
It could be a slightly irregular period this month and may show up a few days later than normal.

May be worth doing a strip test tomorrow morning.
I was 1 day late and i did a strip test, it was a faint positive. (Picture shown below) i knew i wouldnt have much HCG in my urine, so i waited a few more days to do a digital. I feel like digital arent actually that sensitive in picking up early pregnancy.

On my second i hadnt had a period at all and tested everh friday for 6 weeks, and i kept getting negative tests until it came up with a vvfp.

Test again using the strip tests and surely something should come up x
