How far along am I? Ovulated late

Hello, I am hoping to schedule an early scan to check the pregnancy is in the right place but not sure when to do it. First day of last period was 19th Jan but I ovulated late and conceived on Feb 8th. Depending what I go by varies things by a week (almost 6 weeks by last period, almost 5 weeks by conception date).

When booking an early scan most places ask for the first date of your last period and then they go from there. Then they can give you a rough estimation of how many weeks they think you are.

OK I am just worried if I give that they will think I am measuring behind?

Until your 12 week scan, dating your pregnancy is based on your last period date. Even if you base it on your conception date- they will still record it based on your last period date. The 12 week scan will give you a more accurate due date.
At 6 weeks you might be able to see what looks like an engagement ring with a tiny flicker of a heartbeat but a lot of people don’t see that.
You could contact the place you’re thinking of booking your early scan and ask when they think is the best time to book. When I booked mine at Window to the Womb, they said they do viability scans from 6 weeks but would encourage me to hold off until 8 weeks (based on my last period) to be able to see something.

Did you ovulate on 8th Feb? If so then you would be 4w5d today. As PPs have said, clinics will go off your last period date. But if you bear in mind that you are really 4w5d today when booking early scans then you won’t need to worry if you are apparently measuring behind. Congratulations!

I’d wait til you are at least 7-8 weeks (from last period), to have a scan, most places won’t do it til 7 weeks anyway.
