Hi, I am new to the site so I’m not sure if I’m posting in the right department.
I am looking for any advise or people experiences as i am thinking the worst.
I had my 20 week scan on 21st and was told all baby’s measurements are under the 3rd centile. I was sent for another scan in more detail on 23rd this scan showed baby is below 3rd centile and had a small 2.3mm pericardial effusion and skin oedema around stomach area. I was given TORCH test the same day and referred to FMU. I was informed it could be Chromosomes abnormalities, infection or something else. I was told the FMU can diagnose/
give a prognosis I am obviously very worried I have had 6 other children all on the small side all of them had no sign of SGA at 20 weeks this only appeared with them at 32 + weeks, and they have no health issues. Any advise would be appreciated.
