Hydrocephalus? Can anyone look at scans?

Can anyone see any fluid on my babies brain? I went for a private 4D ultrasound and they did a growth scan too, they said my baby had a slightly bigger head than average (98th percentile!!!!) and I've been googling..... she didn't mention any abnormalities.

She told me to mention to my midwife, but my midwife is on holiday and isn't returning for 2 weeks and maternity triage says it's a community midwife thing.

My husband has a large head so I'm hoping it's genetics only

Hello. I'm not medical at all but I think try not to worry. My eldest son's head was also in 98th centile when he was born. Absolutely nothing wrong with him. He's still got a large head and so has his Dad! Bigger brains apparently (so they say!)

They possibly want to talk about the mechanics of the birth rather than think there is something wrong. It can be a little more challenging with a large head. So they might want to talk it over and make a plan maybe?

I would think if they saw it as an abnormality it would be more of an urgent "contact your midwife right now or MAU' etc, my daughter also had a large head can't remember the centile but I think if they spotted any issues they would have made this clear.
