I'm only 9 days in my legs are a mess. It's not painful but I wondered if anyone had tips on avoiding bruising?

I had to do these for 10 days post partum. It's awful. Best advice I was given the make sure you pinch a decent amount of skin, and be quick when you go in for the stab. No hesitation. And then pull it straight out. Apply pressure for minute.

It didn't stop the bruising completely but it did make a difference

@MillshakePickle thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it's for months if the pregnancy progresses. I've found I have to slowly insert it and remove as the massive bruises were from being too quick. I agree with the pinching lots of flesh. I was squeezing it too tight before. I'm also on aspirin which could explain the heavy bruising

@bradpittsbathwater I had to take fragmin with my twins from like 20 odd weeks till they was born and then 6 weeks after. I done mine on the side of my leg bit more squiggy and didnt really seem to bruise straight in and out and I was also on aspirin aswell

Only advice I have is not to rub the injection site immediately after to relieve the sting as it spreads it about a little, but I’ve never really known anyone do that so, guessing it’s unlikely you’re doing that either.
