how to read beta HCG lab results?

Hi,

I posted about a beta HCG blood test results I had following several positive urine tests, including 1 the morning of the negative bloods (yesterday).

I have just received the lab report. Where it says the HCG level is below 1 (on the ‘results’), does this mean it is >1 on the ‘0-5’ (low-high) levels? Because to me that could mean I have any amount of HCG just not really high (I.e. I could have 30mU which is very low in comparison to the measurement it could be at 10weeks post LMP), as I’m around 12-13 DPO / 3 weeks post LMP? Or does it mean I have less than 1mU or whatever the measurement is? I’ve emailed the testing clinic now but im so worried and impatient. Please help and wish me luck 😭

thankyou.

Honestly not sure but that chart indicates that your result is not testing postive for pregnancy as it says anything under 5 indicated not pregnant.
I think it means less that 1mu.
Anything above 5 'high' means your pregnant
Exactly when was your lmp?

I don’t quite understand the question, but the test indicates you are not pregnant.

When interpreting beta HCG lab results, a level below 1 typically means that the hormone is not detectable in the blood sample. In the context of pregnancy testing, this would generally indicate a negative result. However, it's essential to consider the sensitivity of the test and the timing of the test in relation to conception.

In your case, if you're around 12-13 days past ovulation (DPO) or 3 weeks post last menstrual period (LMP), and you've had several positive urine tests, including one on the morning of the negative blood test, it's possible that the blood test was taken too early to detect a rising level of beta HCG.

The range values are the ranges for a negative result.

We have a base beta hcg of between 0.1 and 5, a hcg result in this range is a negative result.

Your result was less than 1, which is negative.

Unfortunately, you're not pregnant at this time.
