8+5 weeks pregnant - constant stitch like cramp

I've had a almost constant stitch like cramp all day today in my right side.

It's quite high up not towards my pelvis

I've been constipated for a few days but had 2 poos today so far! (Sorry for tmi)

It's worrying me a lot but I'm trying to convince myself it's normal.

Just to be clear I know it's not an ectopic because I had an early scan at 6+6 and baby was fine, in a good position and there was a heartbeat.

It's different from the other ligament pain I've had so far but it might be that?

I think those are stretching cramps tbh I experienced them quite often between 7-11w. Although the pains were not constant more like come and go lasting few seconds throughout the day. Just give a call to your midwife for reassurance could be a mix of stretching and constipation/ gas.

Ok that sounds a bit like it!

Thank you.

I think I'll see how it is tomorrow morning and if it hasn't got better I'll call my midwife.

It's so annoying that I can't just relax this pregnancy

@KetoViking i can completely sympathize im anxious throughout this pregnancy as well! I was keep saying to myself ow when I see everything is fine on early scan I will relax, then ow I will finally relax after the 12w scan and goes on! Nearly 19w now and I’m waiting for my 20w scan to ‘’relax” which I bet I won’t🙈
