High uterine artery doppler reading

I had a scan at 15 weeks and was told I have high readings on my left artery. They said not to be too concerned but that is easier said than done! It is my first pregnancy after two previous early losses. I was advised to attend my 20 week scan as normal and book an additional 24 week scan to check the levels again. Does anyone have any experience that can reassure me?

I wasn't checked as early as you so no idea what it was then, but mine was high at 31 weeks and normal by 34. So in my case it resolved itself.

Thanks for replying @Chasingbaby2 did you do anything or did it resolve itself naturally?

Hard to say. I've been on aspirin for low papp-a and drunk beetroot juice daily as it's meant to help prevent pre eclampsia but nothing specifically for the cord pressure.

Forgot to say aspirin is not recommended unless prescribed tho. No harm in trying the beetroot juice, I saw its being trialled by Tommy's

Thanks, I’m already taking low dose aspirin (75mg). Read about the beetroot juice trial earlier, will stock up!

Bit of orange juice makes it taste better :)

I had this with my first pregnancy. It was noted at the 20 week scan and I was told it could result in a low birth weight baby. As such, I was offered (and took), two extra growth scans throughout the third trimester to check growth. I was also told I would need to be induced at 41 weeks. Baby came naturally at 41 weeks (contractions started at 40+6) and she was over 9lbs! So basically, it was noted, precautions were taken and it all turned out to be totally fine. Pregnancy was low risk in every other respect.
