20 week scan not been rearranged after not getting all readings?

I had my 20 week scan at exactly 20 weeks I am now exactly 22 weeks.

at my 20 week scan everything was fine but he wouldn’t move to see a left view of his heart and his left foot, they said they would send me a letter to rearrange a scan to come back and try again (this is normal I know) but at 22 weeks I’ve heard nothing.
i called the hospital (after waiting 2 hours on the phone) and they basically just said it hasn’t been rebooked and they have until 22 weeks and 6 days to get it booked in. She said she was going to ‘try’ get one booked in and keep an eye on badger notes. So far nothing

so because THEY didn’t do their jobs I might miss out on getting those readings? What can I do?????

There was lots of admin errors in my pregnancy and labour. Pretty frustrating. I I know it gets harder to scan as the fetus gets bigger but I can't imagine 22+6 is hard and fast rule. Can you directly contact your midwife to keep chasing it up.

Complain to PALS. Other than paying for a private scan, not really a lot else you can do tbh.

They were unable to get most measurements due to positioning with my second DC at the 20 week scan. While it was successfully rebooked and I did have the second attempt at the scan, the positioning was somehow worse, and they still couldn't get the measurements (particularly of the heart). And that was that. No more tries. It did help that there were no obvious abnormalities, but it was always right at the back of my mind until baby was born. He's 2 in a few weeks, and completely fine.

My midwife never replies to me. I told her about it and she did nothing and never followed it up

Thank you!
yes I’m not MAJORLY concerned as from all the other measurements and reading everything was fine but it’ll still definitely play on my mind
