36 weeks today losing my mucus plug?

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and yesterday I noticed I've started to lose what looks like my mucus plug, it's not loads but it's definitely increasing since yesterday (no blood in it) I'm getting lightening crotch on and off and increased bowel movements and on and off nausea.
I am hoping this mean my body is preparing for natural labour as with my first I had no signs at all and ended up getting induced.

I'm not full term for another 5 days although after a growth scan babies estimate weight is 6lbs6 so hopefully should all be ok I personally don't think baby will be coming anytime soon but just exciting to know my body this time may be doing what it meant to and may mean he might come naturally without induction.

If anyone else had these similar symptoms did it last for month and ended up getting induced anyway?

Hi there. I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant, but breech so think I may have to have a c section.

I'm pregnant with baby no 4 and has been 12 years since I was last pregnant, but if I remember rightly my muscus plus came away the day or days before I gave birth.

I had stop start contractions for a couple of days, however baby was born the day after my muscus plug came away

Was it your full plug with blood? Mine hasn't got no blood and seems to be coming away abit at a time

Mine came away a bit at a time from about 34 weeks with first pregnancy. He was born at 41 + 6 via c section following a failed induction.

My midwife said you can shed it and it can regrow. Might be worth a mention at your next appointment but if you have no other signs of labour I wouldn't worry too much.

I started losing my plug around 36 plus 5 with dc2. Went into labour at exactly 39 weeks.

However I went into labour on the early side with dc1 too at 38 plus 5.

Ah okay, no it was the full plug, no blood though. Contractions ramped up that evening and she was born naturally in the am x
