Hi this is baby number 5 for me always followed this pattern due to HG. But it's worrying me now. Before I had cravings where I could at least eat something I knew I'd sort of cope with.
But this time it's nothing. No medication helps, I'm constantly dehydrated and I feel so weak I'm having to have 2 naps a day.
I am only 22 weeks so a way to go yet.
What can I try and eat that's healthy ish but will also help me not lose as much weight? I'm 2 stone down already and look so gaunt in the face.
Today I've had a packet of peanuts and then vomited for hours after. I don't even have the feeling of being hungry any more. It's like I'm used to it. Worried the baby isn't eating enough.
I've been induced every single time as well for growth or reduced movements too. Keen to avoid that, this time.

Have you mentioned this to your midwife? I'm surprised you haven't been given more help or support after loosing 2 stone.

Yes and prescribed medication by GP. It doesn't do anything. All I've had really midwife side is being put on a drip for dehydration.
This is normal for me, I don't ever gain weight I lose roughly 2-3 stone each time. But I'm keen to try something new this time to either put on a bit of weight or at least stop the vomiting.

Have you tried different medication? If it doesn’t work within 48 hours it probably isn’t the right one for you. There’s also the option of steroids, but you have to be really persistent with your GP and the hospital. If you get in touch with the Pregnancy Sickness Support charity they’re very supportive and can offer advice specific to your situation.

Hello,

I am 11 weeks and 6 days pregnant with my first today. It’s been a rollercoaster between bleeding, no heartbeats & then heartbeats reappearing… anyway I am really struggling with nausea and food. I know it’s so common but when I found out I was pregnant I was 135lbs (5”4 height) and 12 weeks in I now weigh 121lbs. I try so so so hard to eat for baby but I just bring it all back up. Doc at last appointment wasn’t concerned as he said I was young & healthy (don’t feel it). I’ve a doc appointment tomorrow in my maternity unit. Should I push for help? Or am I over reacting. 12 weeks and 1st baby. I’ve not got a clue and I’m not afraid to admit that …

thanks!
