Should be 9 weeks, but measuring 6 weeks

Hello everyone.
I went for an "early reassurance" scan today thinking I was 9 weeks pregnant, but the sonographer said I was in fact measuring 6 weeks. They did find a heartbeat as well, which made me feel a bit confident, but I'm also quite confused. This is my first pregnancy and I feel as if I'm worried about everything, Google has been a help and a hindrance!
I also started having brown/light pink discharge this week which if I am 6 weeks would I suppose be implantation bleeding?
Has anyone else had any similar experiences, I just keep seeing things involving miscarriages which isn't helping my anxiety 😅

Could it be possible you have your dates wrong? We're you tracking ovulation or do you know how long your cycles normally are? Maybe it's just you ovulated and conceived later than you thought.

Was the sonographer concerned at all?

Do you have irregular periods? That could explain the dates being different

It's possible, I use at home ovulation tests and typically didn't bother that month as it was around Christmas time and things were stressful!
The sonographer didn't seem too worried. I'm having my first meeting with my midwife next week so I'll check with them 🤞🏻
