Pregnant after cancelled IVF

Hi all. I’m currently 3+ weeks pregnant after having a cancelled IVF round.

Even though I have x9 follicles only x3 were big enough but it was deemed too low of a count to do an egg retrieval. We were advised to try naturally before then starting another round of treatment. To my utter surprise, my period was late and I have a few mild cramps that didn’t feel like my usual period pain so I did a test and amazingly.. pregnant!

Has this happened to anyone else? We are so happy but equally we know it’s super early still, just keeping everything crossed.

I’ve heard this happen a lot anecdotally! Fingers crossed it progresses well

Tentatively congrats! All I would say is that there is also a risk of multiples since sounds like you started treatment but egg collection was abandoned and you had follicles large enough to ovulate?! My clinic would go ahead with collections even if only 2 follicles of decent size for this reason 😳
