I've been told I've got a posterior placenta I am 20'weeks and I haven't felt my baby kick! I get flutters but not daily does anyone else have this? It's my first pregnancy.

And I worry that something is wrong

Does anyone else have posterior placenta and when did you start to feel kicks with your first pregnancy

Mine is anterior and I've only felt flutters occasionally I'm 21 weeks but had a scan yesterday and saw her kicking away going nuts! My placenta is low and the baby was up high so sometimes that doesn't make a difference. It's just that at this stage they are still small and can move about a lot without us feeling it. It's normal not to feel anything until 22-24 weeks so please don't worry too much..said by someone that really did until a consultant told me not too!

I'm 18 weeks tomorrow and haven't had my 20 week scan yet so I don't know the position of my placenta yet. I had an anterior placenta with my daughter and didn't feel anything definite until I was about 23/24 weeks. I had an appointment with my midwife this week and she told me that she wouldn't expect me to feel definite kicks until 24 weeks although all pregnancy are different so I might feel them earlier but not to worry if I don't. She also said that there isn't usually a pattern to the movements you feel until around about then so told me not to panic if I feel flutters and then don't feel anything for several days.
