Finishing on vulva // pre-ovulation pain?

My first time posting here and first month tentatively TTC! Hello!

Some questions…

What is everyone’s experience with ovary pain before ovulation?

I did a CB OPK on Monday and had a low result. I then had strong ovary pain/sensation on Monday around 12am. I tested again on Tuesday around the same time as Monday (1pm-ish) and I got a peak OPK result. No flashing smiley in between!

My Flo app says I ovulated on Tuesday but that doesn’t seem right if I got the peak OPK on Tuesday, cause ovulation is meant to happen a day or so later? I usually have EWCM mucus but haven’t had any yet this month.

Have many people experienced a peak OPK AND ovulation on the same day? Does peak OPK always happen before ovulation? Just trying to work out when it might have happened.

Secondly…

How many of us have fallen pregnant with him finishing on your vulva/labia, rather than inside?

Long story short, on Wednesday (day after peak OPK) we got a bit carried away in the spoon position without him actually penetrating me, and he finished down there. There was a load of it (quite literally haha) down there when I went to the toilet, but I obviously wiped it away. So super close to my vagina but he never actually entered this time.

Of course I know it’s technically possible to conceive this way, but just wondering if anyone has experienced it?!

So the first day you use cb opk you’ll always get the empty circle. Flo app is just a prediction so nothing to do with OPK. Normally it’s 24-36 hours after peak test to ovulate

Also if sperm didn’t ever the actual vagina then no.

Thanks! So even if I had peak LH on the first day I tested I’d still get an empty circle, cause that’s the first time I’ve ever used a test?

Defo haven’t been relying on the Flo app as my cycles are a bit erratic.

It’s definitely possible that some sperm got in the vagina from the vulva, so just wanted to see if anyone had conceived from a similar sitch :)

Yes so will always show the empty circle regardless as far as I know. My flo app normally says day 14/15 but it was day 17 last month with the opks so good to know.
