It'll be fine don't worry- it's not able to go into your cervix which will be closed and there is nowhere else for it to go

Please do not worry, I did exactly the same a week ago, used the applicator the first day then saw you’re not meant to - all absolutely fine and gave it a google to see why, it’s just because there is a v v v tiny chance that it may upset your cervix, but I would imagine you’d know if you had done. You can have sex in pregnancy and so an applicator for 2 seconds will likely do no harm. And congratulations! X

Thank you! I’m freaking out so bad! I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t tell me beforehand!
im glad you and baby are okay! I hope me and baby are okay too!!

Agree with everyone else. I had a bad thrush at 25 weeks and the hospital gave me an applicator. They gave me 3 in total as they said thrush can be super stubborn in pregnancy. This was from the maternity unit.

however when I was on Google a few days beforehand there were so many horror stories.

You will be fine x

My midwife told me to ignore the ‘don’t use the applicator’ warning because I couldn’t get it high enough to be comfortable without it. As others have said, it won’t go into your cervix so you’re totally fine :)
