I had my section at 11:30, it’s 8pm now and I’m in too much pain to lift myself up for them to change my sheets. I’m feeling really deflated that I’m meant to be able to move more. How did others find their first 12 hours?

@Littlegoth that's horrendous. Sorry to hear that. I've since learnt that I have ehlers danlos syndrome and painkillers metabolise much quicker so it makes sense in a way

They need to give u more pain relief I had emergency csec 3 months ago and they were awful at pain relief I kept in at them they gave me diclofenac hidrocodine and paracetamol every 4 hours but split it so u were getting something every 2 hours really helped me hope u get better soon and get some sleep xx

Very sore but hoping to go home shortly, and will be good to be in charge of my own meds!

I'm booked in for a section Tuesday, worrying a little now! The information sheet given states women should bring in their own simple painkillers... comes to something don't it when we're being told to bring in our own painkillers. Does this mean I won't be getting anything stronger does anyone know ?
