Stabbing pains in lower abdomen 18.5 weeks

Hi all,

I’m currently having quite sharp pains when I bend forward. It seems to be right at the bottom of my stomach and only really happens when I move. I’ve been up to the PAU and heard baby’s heartbeat but still feel so worried. Has anyone had anything similar and been fine?

Thanks,

Jenny

Hey hun. Does it feel like a stitch pain quickly then disappears?

I had what felt like constant period pains, bit stabby.
I think it was round ligament pain. Later I was diagnosed with Braxton Hicks. Everything was fine though.
I was overdoing things a bit throughout as I felt great, apart from the weird pains.

@AimeeLou84 it does but it keeps on coming back whenever I move and it’s like right at the bottom, under my bump x

On one side? I thought I had round ligament pain at 29 weeks. It was appendicitis. Please get checked out if you develop other symptoms like loss of appetite, fever or the pain moves to the middle.

Yes so I get this i googled it and it come up with ligament spasms. It’s worse at night when I quickly ‘try’ to turn over. I’m pretty sure it’s normal hun but if worried drop your midwife a text?
